Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using any product or service offered by EGZ Lab (hereinafter "EGZ", "we", "our"), you (hereinafter "the Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you are purchasing on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. Product Description

EGZ Lab develops and commercializes plugins and digital solutions for WordPress, including:

• EGZ Cert Builder Pro — WordPress plugin for creating and delivering PDF certificates.
• EGZ Tickets & Support — Customer support ticket system for WordPress.
• WooCommerce Bridge for Moodle — Integration between WooCommerce and Moodle LMS.
• Web development services — Custom design, development, and consulting.

EGZ Lab does not operate on a SaaS model; customer data remains on your own server.

3. License Types

3.1 Annual License

Grants the right to install and use the plugin on 1 WordPress site for 12 months. Upon expiration, the plugin continues to work but receives no updates or support until renewal.

3.2 Lifetime License

Grants the right to install and use the plugin on 1 WordPress site permanently, including all future updates for the duration of the product's commercial availability.

3.3 Common Restrictions

• The license is personal and non-transferable.
• Redistribution, resale, or sublicensing of the plugin is not permitted.
• Use on multiple sites requires purchasing additional licenses.

4. Pricing and Payments

All prices are expressed in US Dollars (USD). Payments are processed through secure PCI DSS certified gateways. EGZ Lab does not store card data on its servers.

EGZ Lab may modify prices at any time. Changes will not affect licenses already purchased.

5. Refund Policy

To request a refund, the Customer must contact [email protected] within the guarantee period, describe the issue, and allow 72 business hours for a resolution attempt.

Refunds will not be issued for:

• Change of mind after the guarantee period.
• Incompatibilities caused by unsupported third-party plugins or themes.
• Issues resulting from Customer modifications to the plugin code.
• Failure to meet the minimum system requirements.

6. Updates and Support

Active licenses include automatic updates via WordPress, email support in Spanish and English (response within 48 business hours), and access to documentation.

Support is not guaranteed for WordPress or PHP versions that have reached end-of-life (EOL).

7. Usage Restrictions

The following are expressly prohibited:

• Using the products for illegal or fraudulent activities.
• Reverse engineering or decompiling the software.
• Removing copyright notices from the code.
• Using the product on sites promoting illegal or offensive content.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the products are the exclusive property of EGZ Lab. The license does not transfer ownership rights to the Customer. The Customer retains all rights to content generated using our products.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EGZ Lab shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid in the 12 months preceding the event. Products are provided "as-is" except for the warranties expressly stated herein.

10. Modifications

EGZ Lab may modify these Terms at any time. Modifications are published at egzlab.com/terminos/. For substantial changes, notice will be sent at least 15 days in advance to the registered email.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Bogotá D.C., Colombia. For international customers, EGZ Lab will endeavor to resolve disputes amicably.
